I'm a Football gal....
I'm good for 16 or so games over a four month period. I operate well in that 16 game window. Lots of time between games to sit and analyze. With that in mind; I don't function well as a Baseball fan. I've tried for 4 seasons and I just can't do it. It's my nature to watch every single game when the team I love is playing. Easy in a Football world. Torture in a Baseball world with 162 games in 5 1/2 months. Forgive me, but, I want my team to win Every Single Game! Is that wrong? A "Baseball" friend of mine told me tonight that it's OK for the Sox to lose against the Mariners one game because it will work out better if we win the last two. What?? It's Ok to lose?? I don't get it. And I can't watch another Sox game that goes into extra innings for a while. Which means, I can't watch the Sox play for at least two weeks. Don't tell me what happens....
